Watching debate on current topics
has been one of my hobbies since my adolescence. It does not matter whether its
for India or US, in general watching literate, pundits, and people from all
sides bringing their view point make things very easy and clear in public
domain. Many a times I wonder without media how difficult the progress of the
society can be. One thing I am assuming here is media is almost autonomous in
its viewpoint and keeps a broad perspective above its own country or countrymen
and woman.
We know everyday media brings new topic,
which it finds the public is keen in listening, understanding and wanted to
have their say. Have we wondered how the day's will be if we do not have media
or true journalism is absent from our day to day life for a single day. I thing
it will be a difficult day to imagine.
Having said all this, I feel media
plays a role into the mainstream human thought process, which is not only
difficult to major, rather not an easy task to comprehend. Society, which
encourages autonomous responsible media or journalism progresses in that path
of uplifting the life of its citizens.
